THE WHALES ARE HERE
Southern Right Whales are commonly sighted between June and October. They quite often spend days at a time in sheltered coves and bays providing ideal vantage points (including the Port Campbell Pier.)This year lucky for us they’re early!..They have been sited in Portland and can often be seen from a viewing platform at Logan's beach Warrnambool breaching and playing. For more information on the whales and wildlife in the area take a short stroll to the Visitor Information centre or visit : www.visit12apostles.com.au
FOR THE KIDS
Launched in 1998 Fun 4 Kids was conceived with the aim of celebrating the imagination and creative spirit of children. Housed in a magical 2.5 acre ‘village’ in the heart of Warrnambool. . .The festival offers a feast of experiences and the best thing is that you pay one entry fee and then all the fun is free! The magical 2.5 acre Fun 4 Kids Village will again come alive June 28th to July 5th.
